Sunday Smorgasbord

I had so much fun last week that I'm linking up with  Fabulous in First for Sunday Smorgasbord again today!

I am writing from the train to Philadelphia... 92 Boston teachers are headed to Philly to go to a three day conference.  I've never been sent out of state for a conference before and I'm sooo excited!  What I'm really excited for is the fun nighttime adventures that I keep hearing about ;)  I can't wait to try some cheesesteaks.

I went on an Ikea adventure with my sister in law and found all sorts of sweet goods for my house and classroom.  I tried not to go too crazy for classroom stuff yet, since I'm sure I will be back there before school starts!

Here's what I scooped up:
KALAS Bowl IKEA Great for parties and everyday meals. Made of durable plastic and safe to use in the dishwasher and microwave.
Kalas Bowls for sorting math manipulatives by color, art projects and more.  So cheap!
I already have some Flyt Magazine Files at school to organize my Mailbox Magazines and other teacher resources.  I grabbed two more packs to use both at home and school.  At $2 for 5 they are a steal!
LINNMON/LALLE Table IKEA Pre-drilled leg holes for easy assembly. Solid wood is a durable natural material.
I finally got a table for my craft room/office/school supply hoarder zone.  I scooped up the Linnmon Table in with Lalle legs in gray.  I wasn't sure about the color combination at first, but am totally digging it now!

Here is Mr. Man putting it together... don't mind the shirtlessness, it was about 90 degrees in the house.

And here is the finished product.  Don't mind the awful picture quality.  I'm so excited to start organizing this room {finally} and making it cute {finally}.
