Part One: How to Make a Banner
I was browsing on Pinterest a few days ago and found this magical little post from Kindergals. I had no idea you could make your TPT store so cute! I clicked over and it was helpful, but there were no step by step directions about how make it happen, so I decided to figure it out for myself.

Okay, so let's get down to it.
Design a banner however you would like. I love Powerpoint, so that's how I did it. Keep in mind that it needs to be long and skinny.
There are probably way fancier ways to do this, but I like to keep it real so here's how I did it. I took a screenshot of my design in Powerpoint, and pasted it into Paint.net. I cropped it until it was long and skinny.
Click CTRL R, or go to "image" and "resize." In the width box enter 706 pixels. In the height box enter 90 pixels. If you are having trouble making this work, uncheck the "Maintain aspect ratio" box. Save the image.
In your TPT Store, click on the My Sales Dashboard tab. Click on the "Dress up Your Store" link.
Upload your saved image. You can then enter a link to any of your TPT items. Because I made a general banner, I just entered the main link to my TPT store. You could make a specialized banner (for your winter items, literacy items, etc and link to those instead).
TPT has to approve your banner and link, and then it will display on your page. Mine took about 24 hours.
Super cute and pretty easy! Come check out my page {HERE} to see it in person.

This is a great idea! I don't have Paint, but I'd like to use my blog banner!
You can get it for free!
