Class Book Ideas

I have a secret to tell you... I love class books.  I have never seen my little ones SO engaged in the library as when they are reading books that they created.  But the secret is, friends, that I have been BAD at keeping up with making them.  Naughty, naughty teacher!  It seems like I get so caught up in all of the eleventy billion other things I need to do that making class books kind of taper off by about October.  Whoops!  I made a new pinterest board to inspire me this year...  with so many adorable ideas, how could I not actually make them?!?

Here are a few of my favorites

Alphabet Photo book... ADORABLE!  And perfect for those kinesthetic learners

Here's a few I do that might interest others!
1. Teacher, teacher who do you see?
I have a picture of myself on the cover and a full sized picture of the kid on each following page..
2. Clifford loves.... After reading a clifford story, we make Clifford ears and then I take a picture of them with their ears on holding clifford. Then below I have the words: Clifford loves ________. (name)
3. Valentine's day: I put all my Valentine's day cards in a book and under each one I have:
___________ (name) gave Mrs. Gorbe a _____________ (i.e. fairy) card for Valentine's day.
