2. Office Max will give you a $10 gift card if you buy $39 or more in ink. No coupon needed. This worked out just fine for me because my stupid color cartridge alone costs $52. This plan is not so much bankrupting me now, but bankrupting me later when I have to go BACK to Office Max to use my gift card.
3. This is the one that is really trying to bankrupt me... five little (but extremely dangerous) words: Pottery Barn Kids + Eric Carle. Everyone knows that this equation could equal disaster! You're not the only one who has experienced this, Mary. I have had my experiences. :) I was also once a shopaholic. There are many banks that provide people, (especially college students) with savings and checking accounts that allow them to build good credit and stay out of debt – try to make use of them. Use your credit card wisely, Mary, because one can build credit which enables that individual to be able to take out loans for cars, houses and other larger purchases.

They are very cute but don’t forget that you need to use the money for your own needs first, not wants. Needs and wants are very different. Paying your debts should be the first thing before anything else. Sure the baby things are cute, as they are supposed to be, but you can get them later after you have done everything that you need. And do what Allan said, use your credit card wisely.
