A Few of my Favorite Things

Okay, so I am probably a little behind the times on this one, but I JUST discovered Kim Adsit's fantastic website!  I spent about an hour and a half more than I meant to clicking around and looking at all of her great photographs and ideas!  Here are some that I will DEFINITELY be trying next year:
I love this anchor chart.  It is cute, straightforward and I think the kids really need that (especially at the beginning of the year!)

I love this... a very direct way to teach a concept that can be very abstract for little ones

This is definitely my favorite.  I think I will make one, laminate it and write directly on it with dry erase markers.  Does anyone recognize the font?  I NEEEED it!

I also LOVE this one!  It is super versatile and would really teach children how to make text to text connections.

All photographs are from Kim Adsit

Oh Yea! Kim Adsit ROCKS the kinder world. I have been fortunate enough to see her three times at the I Teach K conference. Another Kim to love, Kim Jordano. Great ideas!

Oh, and don't you love when a "quick" browse turns into hours of oohs and aahs? So many wonderful sites and blogs...so little time. Thank goodness for summertime!

Hope you're having a great one!
